- 50 grams unsalted butter cubed
- 40 grams raw sugar
- 250 grams Milk (Any)
- 1 egg
- 80 grams White Choc Chips
- 80 grams frozen raspberries
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Bean Paste
- 450 grams Self Raising Flour

TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
Add flour and butter to the bowl and mix speed 8 for 3-4 seconds until just combined. Add sugar, milk, eggs and vanilla "Dough mode" 20 seconds. Add berries (ensure well frozen) and chocolate and "Dough mode" for a further 15 secs. Turn dough out onto Thermomat or floured bench and gently pat out. Using a scone cutter cut out 8-10 scones and place on oven tray. Bake at 210 degrees for about 10-12 minutes. Every oven is different so please check after 10 minutes as the temperature is quite high and it depends how thick your scones are. When baked leave on tray for 5 minutes and then turn out onto a wire rack. Serve as they are or with some butter.
Accessories you need
Play around with which frozen berries you would like and change white chocolate to milk or dark chocolate. Frozen blueberries and dark chocolate work well. Enjoy!
