Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip
The quantities are carefully calculated so that vanilla bean paste DOES not form crystal's - the quantities are calculated so that the liquid is at the max absorbtion for sugar and the glucose is an integral part of the crystals NOT forming.. this recipe has been tested over 3 months and crystals did not form one does need to give the new jar a stir before using.

Great recipe, however unfortunately it is way too sweet due for me to the high sugar content. I found that any recipe I used the vanilla paste in added too much sweetnessand have therefore found an alternative sugar free recipe so will be using that instead. If you don't mind the sweetness, this is a perfect recipe to use, just not for me!

This is so easy to make & amazing to use. I've stored mine now for 4 months & still using. No crystals at all but very thick from the fridge (not complaining). For careful measurement, simply put a small amount in a dish & microwave on low until you can measure it correctly. Flavour is to die for. I will never buy extract again.

This is a great recipe. I've found that the beans can mill chunky (pods) but you can strain the pods through a sive when placing in a jar.
