Add all the ingredients in the order listed and blend sp7/20 secs to roughly combine. If the mixture looks too dry and crumbly, add 1T of water at a time to get a soft consistency.
Turn out the dough onto a greased mat/bowl and cover.
Leave to rise until double/ 1/2 an hour or so.
Punch down and either shape into a ball
Roll out to a 30cm circle and cut into 8 wedges.
Place onto baking paper and leave to rise (covered) again until doubled.
Preheat the oven with a pizza stone (if you have one) to 220°C.
Place an oven dish in the bottom of the oven to heat as well.
When the dough is ready, slide it onto the pizza stone (you can leave the paper underneath).
If you are baking a loaf, you can slash it now.
Then add some boiling water to the oven pan underneath.
Be careful..there will be lots of steam..that's the idea.
Bake a loaf for around 35-40 mins, until cooked when tested.
Rolls for around 25-30 mins.
Cool on a wire rack.
Try these split and toasted in a sandwhich press...
Fill with ham, cheese tomamto, salami, olives, onions..whatever takes your fancy.
They are oh soooo goood!
