Is this a generic book for TM31/TM5 or are there specific versions for each?

I made the Pork San Chou Bau on my daughter in law''s recommendation.  It was delicious and something a bit different.  I filled wonton wrappers rather than using the lettuce cups.

Not overly impressed with this book so far. The first two items cooked from it have been rather tasteles. One we cooked twice just to make sure. It all got binned. :((

I used hand caught Brook Trout instead of white (fleshed) fish... added extra herbage, and a tad extra lemon rind, and we both loved it.

Finally getting my Thermi this weekend and can't wait!!  So excited!! Bigsmile

My consultant had mentioned this cookbook when I ordered, but I told him I would rather wait until the 'chip' version came out. Do you know when this cookbook will be available with the TM5 chip?

Got this book a few weeks ago and have been dying to try out some recipes, just

got thermy back from a service.

what recipes do you all recommend?

We love the tips for smaller households that are provided in the Cooking for me and you booklet!

Here's one of the helpful tips:

Organising your refrigerator and pantry with labels and expiry dates enables quick assessment of what is running low and what you need to use up. Being space-savvy with canisters and containers also increeases the amount of long-life items you can keep on hand for last minute meals.

If you have any other tips for smaller households, please feel free to share them on this thread!

Hi Larny,

We are sorry you didn’t enjoy the White fish risotto; it is definitely one for fish and seafood lovers as the white fish will impart its flavour throughout the dish. The freshness, quality and variety of fish used can also be a factor, so it is important to speak with your fish monger. There are varieties of white fish that have less of a ‘fishy flavour’, so these might be the best option for you should you try and make the dish again. The varieties of fish suitable will differ depending of the area of Australia you live in so it is always best to seek out this information locally. The freshness of the fish is also always important; as the older the fish, the fisher the flavour and aroma.

We hope this helps and are glad you enjoyed the Asparagus risotto. Please keep your feedback coming, as it is always great to hear about our new publications.
