Hi,

Please check the cubes of butter you use are not too big as the yolks are starting to cook before the butter can melt into it. You can also try cooking on speed 4. Hollandaise can be difficult to make as the size of your eggs, brand of butter and temperature all play a part.

Yep! Just what I thought Michmcp. Surely some one at Thermomix tests the recipes befor they print them, very very disappointing that persons position should be reviewed! Makes me doubt all the thermomix cook books now how many more flops will there be if I follow there recipes!

Has anyone tried the Hollandaise recipe from the basic cook book.  I'm a confident cook and have made this sauce on a weekly basis on the stove with no problems. I followed the recipe step by step and ended up with a split mess!!!! Firstly Iv never seen any recipie that adds the butter in with the eggs and lemon juice all at once butter should be melted and added gradually to avoid it from splitting. Please let me know if anyone has succeed with this recipie by following the instructions.
