Hi, I‘ve also got a TM31 and just prepped everything for risotto for dinner only to have it not heat up! Similar to other posters the temperature lights and screen are just flashing and the bowl will not heat up. This is the first time this has happened for me. Is there someone that can help with this?

Hi Thermomix. My Thermomix doesn’t seem to achieve tempetures in recipes as quickly as it used to.. I’ve had it just under a year now. Is there something I can do about this? Thanks, Steve..

I have two bowls, one has stopped heating but the other one works fine, so I suspect my issue is with the bowl and not the machine. Can't see any visible difference between the two bowls (pins etc all look perfect). Should I contact my consultant, thermomix directly or do something to troubleshoot?

so I contacted Thermomix when I looked very carefully at the rubber crosses that cover the holes where the pins go in -  i noticed that on one of them the cross section was starting to tear and it was actually pointing into the hole so I figured that if the pin was pulling that rubber in with it then it wouldn't be making contact. Rang our rep and she said that the rubber can be replaced - rang Thermomix and they sent out a replacement rubber - bit tricky to get in - but all good since. I love my thermy

So, after forty minutes still wasn't hearing. Took bowl out and checked the pins - the plastic for the pins is a cross cut out shape -  one little piece of plastic was stuck down into the hole so I gently pulled it up, reinserted the bowl and she heated up! Hopefully my meal isn't ruined -  20 mins cooking vs forty and its taken an hour for what takes me 30 mins in a wok. Crossing fingers it's worth it - it really does smell yummy!

Am currently making a new recipe Ki si Minh from, this website. Settings are 10 minutes / 100 degrees /  Counterclock / speed 1

first 10 minute try still cold and using mince

secind 10 minute try and still cold but now with the stock

ladt section is now 20 mins with rice and cabbage - should I be waiting this long for it to heat? thankyou

Thank you! Turns out I had a faulty bowl, new one is being organised! Smile

Hi,

We've had out TM5 for about 2 weeks now, has worked absolutely flawlessly a side from a small issue with the butterfly whisk.

Tonight however, I tried using the Veroma for the first time, I set the time to 60 minutes, Veroma and speed 2. After an hour, it still didn't heat up. my partner came home from work and attempted to get it to work as well, even just setting the time to 30 minutes, Temp 100 and 50 on any speed setting and it refuses to heat up.

Anyone else have a solution to this?

I should probably mention that 30 minutes prior to that the Thermomix did come up with an error saying to clean the pins, however they were perfectly fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
