Hi Geezel, Let me know if you get a chance to have this resolved by the Customer Service Team. I'm still having this problem as I got very little responsiveness from the customer team. They basically recommended that I would contact a repair shop which might cost me a lot of money, with no garantee on the result. I find this really disappointing considering the cost of Thermomix - I would have expected a more attentive customer service ...

I’m having the same problem with my TM 5 shutting down for no reason it happened during Xmas preparations and again recently halfway through boiling eggs and again last night trying to mince dates and water.
How can I get it fixed?


Hi, I've been experiencing an unexpected shutdown of my Thermomix TM5, over the last two days, after using it. It would take a bit more time time get the bowl unlocked and I would then get the 'unexpected shutdown' leading to the security `screen messages'.
Any idea what the problem is?

Hi,
i purchased a 2nd hand TM5 2 days ago and have been using it no issue. I turned it on today and it comes up with the above saying.
Many idea what the problem is?
