After 2 years of use with my TM5, the weigh function has stopped working. After reading other comments posted this seems to be a common issue. Who do I contact regarding this? Is it covered under a warranty?

My scales and blades stopped working within a couple of months of each other. The scales just stopped dead one day and then the blades. Upon investigation, the blades have snapped at the pin connecting the two rotating parts. Reading the Forum comments it seems that these issues are very common occurrences - not happy!! I still have a number of original food processors and blenders that are cheap brands and going strong after 25 years! For issues that are obviously a fault with the appliance, I was disappointed to learn I have to pay for the repair. Thermomix could do a lot better to remedy an obvious fault. I would honestly say my disappointment in this product has led me to look elsewhere and I would not buy another one. It's not well made for all the hype and let's not forget the price.
