Baked Crumble Topping

Baked Crumble Topping

  • 150 g plain flour, gluten free, if preferred
  • 70 g raw sugar, or to taste
  • 70 g Butter, cold. cubed
  • 50 g almonds, flaked or slivered
  • 50 g rolled oats
  • 6

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200C

    Add everything to the Thermomix bowl and process for 10 - 15 seconds on speed 4-5 or until crumbly.

    Spread onto a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes.

    Bring the edges into the middle and spread out again.

    Bake a further 10 minutes.


Add 2 or 3 Tbsp of cocoa for a chocolate crumb.

Recipe can be doubled. Process for 10 seconds, stir around and process again until crumble consistency.

Add mixed spice or cinnamon if liked.

Sprinkle over stewed fruit, icecream, yoghurt etc.

Store in a jar or ziplock bag in the fridge or freezer.
