Recipe's preparation

    Chocolate Fudge Sauce
  1. 250 grams unsalted butter

    590 grams sugar
    200 grams cocoa powder
    10 grams van ess
    1/2 tsp salt
  2. Cube butter and place in bowl.
Add all other ingredients on top.
Cook for 15 minutes on 100 degrees, speed 4.

Tip

It doesn't matter which type of sugar you use. I use brown, but that's my favourite!
Salt is also not a necessity. But helps with the flavour intensity!
Best stored in a jar, not a bottle, as it's quite thick!
The brand of cocoa is also not a biggie. I use Homebrand, just because of the amount the recipe calls for. Makes the beautiful dark sauce in the picture.
Warm what you need and store the rest in the fridge.
The uses are endless! We use in hot/cold milk drinks, 'mudshakes' (for the adults), ice cream topping, cake icing (like a woolies mudcake topping), finger bun topping, sandwich spread for a treat for the kids. These are what I've used it for so far!
Enjoy!!!! (Guilt free just cause you know there's no preservatives! 😉)

The sauce is good but the recipe is a bit poorly written. Make sure you only use 250g of butter Wink

This is sooooo delicious! I totally didn't think about the fact that it would go firm in the fridge so I stored it in old passata bottles. Next time I'll store it in smaller jars so it's easier to scoop out. I will never not have this in the fridge lol
