Submitted by Miniac Kaz on 25. November 2016 - 22:27.

    Great recipe.

A handy hint is to spray your hands with oil before you start rolling, so the mix doesn't stick to your  hands!

Made these for work colleagues over christmas. They were fantastic. I used the standard Bundy rum not the O.P but I only added a little more than what the recipe states and they were pretty strong!

  • Don't need to break biscuits
Submitted by Carol Sroczynski on 22. December 2014 - 16:54.

Don't need to break biscuits in half...TM blitzes them so easily!  I usually start with less than a tin of condensed milk, and then add more if needed, as the weather seems to make a difference to how runny/thick they are!!

  • Fantastic to find a Thermomix
    Submitted by CarolontheThermo on 4. December 2014 - 09:41.

Fantastic to find a Thermomix recipe just like I used to make pre-Theromix, except I also always add chopped glacé red cherries for an added touch.  And somehow, more rum than specified always seems to find its way into the bowl as well!

    Submitted by cryonica on 2. December 2014 - 21:27.

Just a heads up for everyone making these rum balls....Bundy OP rum means "OVER PROOF" which is the %57.7 alcohol bottle. If you're using the normal, every day Bundy (%37 alcohol) I suggest doubling the amount to 60ml to get flavour

    Submitted by EVLKAT82 on 10. April 2014 - 21:58.

This is the exact same recipe we use to make when I was younger, only we used Arnot's Marie Biscuits & rolls them in chocolate sprinkles tmrc_emoticons.) we also may have added just a smidgin more Rum.  Very yummy indeed, using the Thermomix sure does beat trying to crush all the biscuits down using an electric blender, that use to take forever.
