These were very easy. Took to a Christmas lunch. Only had 200g biscuits. Used 1/2 a can of condensed milk and 20g bourbon as I didn't have any rum. Still sticky enough to roll into balls and coat with coconut. Will definitely make again.

Malibu balls are chilling in the fridge (no Bundy rum on hand 😕). Made the mistake of trying to mix a double batch in the TM5. The mixture was a little too heavy to blend so I dropped it out onto the pastry mat and kneeded the mixture like dough. Blended quickly and was processed in half the time it normally takes me.

A handy hint is to spray your hands with oil before you start rolling, so the mix doesn't stick to your hands!

Don't need to break biscuits
Don't need to break biscuits in half...TM blitzes them so easily! I usually start with less than a tin of condensed milk, and then add more if needed, as the weather seems to make a difference to how runny/thick they are!!

These are lovely but found
These are lovely but found mixture very runny. Added 50gm of ALmond meal & extra 50 gm of coconut. Alternatively you could add more biscuits

Fantastic to find a Thermomix
Fantastic to find a Thermomix recipe just like I used to make pre-Theromix, except I also always add chopped glacé red cherries for an added touch. And somehow, more rum than specified always seems to find its way into the bowl as well!
Just a heads up for everyone
Just a heads up for everyone making these rum balls....Bundy OP rum means "OVER PROOF" which is the %57.7 alcohol bottle. If you're using the normal, every day Bundy (%37 alcohol) I suggest doubling the amount to 60ml to get flavour
