    Omg this is to die for! Made it for the first time today. Chocolate is still a bit runny after 30 mins in the fridge though, I expected it to get really hard? I will need to keep it in the fridge I think, is this normal?

    Wow. I’ve had this on my ‘must try’ list for AGESSSSSS and follow your Facebook page ... every time I see a post on it I want to make it but have been scared to for 2 reasons - 1. thought it’d be hard 2. Worried that I’d eat it all in one hit.

    Lol. Well. The first one - this isn’t hard at all! So simple! I didn’t have any brown sugar and didn’t want to go back to the shop, so used raw. It was yum but think it made the caramel a little gritty and perhaps not as rich - all the same it was delicious!

    And my 2nd..... we will see. I’m trying to save it to take to a party tomorrow !! tmrc_emoticons.;)

    thanks for an amazing recipe - this will be a regular for sure, I am stoked it turned out so well for my first try!

    I make this slice at least once a week, sometimes 3 times a week for my husbands work matesthat live in camp & don't get home cooking. This is the best, easiest, foolproof caramel slice I've ever made. Thanks so much Ali

    OMG this is sooooooo good.  Highly recommend anyone making this.  

    Easy to follow instructions. Highly addictive and will struggle to have just one piece.

    The first thing my fiancé said was Ohhe Emmm Gee!! As a Tradie he has ventured in to many bakeries around Tasmania and said this is the best Carmel slice he has ever eaten! We will definitely be making this again tmrc_emoticons.) thank you for a great recipe!

    Perfectly named! Simple and delicious recipe.

    I used Woolworths FreeFrom Gluten Free Arrowroot biscuits (weigh out 250g, takes more than one pack), I found it only needed 120g butter, and added 80g shredded coconut (Gluten free Biscuits have a finer texture and it needed some graininess, besides, I love Coconut!!). I also used 50% more of everything for the filling.

    Verdict: "delicious, when can you make it again??? - from my 17 year old who hates that I only cook Gluten Free since my Coeliac diagnosis and claims that real food is always tastier.

    I hope you won't mind me cloning this for the GF adaptations, it will make it easier to find.
