      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Instructions
    1. Add tim tams to bowl & crush 4 seconds, speed 5. Now set aside.
    2. Add sugar to bowl & mill 30 seconds, speed 9.
    3. Insert butterfly & add cream, milk & nutella. Whisk 20 seconds, speed 3.
    4. Add ¾ of your crushed tim tams, leaving some for the top. Whisk 40 seconds, speed 3.
    5. Now pour into an icecream tub, sprinkle with remaining tim tams & place in freezer.

Tip

Homemade icecream doesn't have anti freeze ingredients added so you will need to defrost for 5/10 minutes before scooping to soften.

    A big hit with kids.
    i did need to whisk a little longer than mentioned, and may try longer again next time but at a slower speed. Seemed to turn out icy once frozen. But flavours work.
