Salted Caramel Ice Cream

Tenina's Salted Caramel Ice Cream

  • 50 g Maple Syrup, pure
  • 200 g sugar
  • 50 g unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoon natural vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 100 g Milk
  • 500 gram cream
  • 4 piece eggs

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place sugar into jug and mill 10 secs Spd 10
  2. Add maple syrup, butter and vanilla and cook 15 mins Varoma temp Spd 1
  3. Add salt, cream, milk and whisk together 30 secs Spd 4
  4. Add eggs and mix 30 secs Spd 4
  5. Cook for 5 mins 80°C Spd 4
  6. Pour into churner and churn until thick. Once churned, place in your ice cream storage container.
  7. Once chilled, scrape down sides, and mix together for 20 seconds on speed 3

Chocolate chips or other 'bits' can be added, in accordance with your churner instructions.
Can be made with full cream, reduced fat or skim milk.
If using pure icing sugar, you do not need to mill the sugar.
