Thank you for your post.

The machine measures the resistance of the ingredients in the bowl which is why the recipe asks for the butter to be chilled and in 1 piece.

It is also the reason the recipe needs to be cooked immediately after placing the sugar with the other ingredients in the bowl.

The end result is lovely and we hope you can give it another try in the future.

Just got my (upgraded from tm5) tm6 and tried ot make caramel sauce with the guided recipe from Cookidoo, using sugar stages. Dispute 100% confidence that I measured everything exactly right, the recipe failed with a 2023 error 'The cooking process was stopped because ingredients and quantities differ too much from the original recipe.'

Has anyone else had this problem?
