Absolutely delicious! By far the bast curried snags I have made. I did get some nice Indian curry powder which I think made a big difference to the old keens curry powder!
A hit with all the family - thank you!

Despite reading and re reading this recipe, I cannot find where the milk powder and water is - these ingredients are mentioned multiple times in the comments. I assume they are unnecessary and have been removed. I did follow the recipe as currently written (without water and milk powder) and it was delicious.

Yum! Thanks for a great recipe. I steamed broccoli in the varoma and then mashed it with the potatoes. I also cut up the sausages after steaming them, put them in the thermo server and then poured the finished sauce over the top. Will use this recipe again for sure.

A really yummy recipe loved by all in family. I added some corn on cob to the sausages in the varoma to boost veggies. Didn't have curry powder at home and just looked up recipe online and made up my own curry powder, allowing me to control the 'spicy-ness' and flavour and used whatever I had in the pantry.

We loved this dish. I did the vegetables in the microwave, faster and you don't need 2 thermoservers. Added some vegetable stock to the mashed potato instead of salt and pepper. Didn't need to tip any water out when preparing the sauce.

This is the best curried sausages I have made in my thermomix yet!
Not sure if I did it completely right though, I was unsure about the step where it states to tip out half the liquid? It didn't seem like I had that much liquid to begin with and then I ended up adding more so there was enough sauce

  • YUMMO loved this I will definitely make it again....

    Submitted by zivtah on 29. June 2017 - 13:13.

YUMMO loved this I will definitely make it again.

I won't cut the sausages before steaming as I like to remove the skin and I found it a little difficult with the sausages being in little pieces to take the skin off. I have always boiled mine whole on the stove top and done this but will give it a go in the varoma (I am sure the cooking time specified for pieces will be the same still)

Not sure that I hit reverse after adding the sausages to the sauce mix as I ended up with minced sausages Lol it just required less chewing. Next time I will probably just put in the thermosever and pour the sauce over them once the sauce has thickened.

My kids would have found the sauce a little spicy so I just put pieces of sausages to the side and served them plain with the rest of the meal that way we all enjoyed the same meal.

Thank you for a all in one thermie meal Smile

    cheeseandrice:

Hiya. Sorry that was my fault for forgetting to put the water quantity in. Is definitely creamy with the right ratio! I don't put cornflour in until the end as you want to have enough steam to cook the sausages and veg.

    Submitted by cheeseandrice on 15. May 2017 - 19:44.

If I was going to make it again I would halve the sausage quantity and double the veggies - 200 g is definitely not enough for 4 serves. I didn't know how much water to use so I used 700ml but I prefer a thicker creamy curry sauce so I would probably reduce this to 400ml next time and put the veggies on for longer and cornflour mixture in earlier so it gets a chance to thicken up as this was quite runny. Would have been better if the recipe was more specific but flavour was okay.
