Recipe's preparation

Shazza's Sticky Pork Spare Ribs or Pork Belly
  1. Add 4 peeled garlic cloves and ginger to bowl (about 20 cent piece size of ginger) and 1 chilli deseeded if you prefer.

    Chop 3 secs speed 7.

Add all other ingredients except the Pork and mix for 10 seconds on speed 5.

Add Pork Belly cut into 1.5cm wide portions or Pork spare ribs and and stir with spatula to coat the meat.

Cook on Varoma reverse speed 1 for 25 minutes.

Turn oven on to 200 degrees to pre heat.

When pork has finished cooking remove the meat pieces and put on a lined baking tray.

Bake for about 10 to 15 minutes until crisp and sticky.

While the meat is cooking cook the sauce for a futher 10 to 15 minutes on Varoma temp speed one with simmering basket on top of bowl.

    Sauce will reduce and thicken.

When finished add pork to Thermoserver and coat with sauce.

Best Ribs I've ever had. I only put 1/2tbsp of Paprika as that's all I had and I didn't put the chilli, garlic or ginger but it was still amazing.

The whole family loves, loves, loves this dish. The first time I made it we didn't use all the sauce so the second time I didn't cook the sauce again after taking out the meat. Cooled the sauce and froze it then used it on pork ribs another night. Family can't get enough. Thanks for the recipeSmile
