Ingredients

220 Spiced Oat Muffins

  • 220 grams of self raising flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 1 large egg
  • 40 grams of caster sugar
  • 40 grams of brown sugar
  • 50 grams of vegetable oil or similar
  • 200 grams of butter milk or full cream milk with the juice of a lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • 95 grams of oats

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 160 deg fan forced - spray oil a medium 12 serve muffin tray with oil
    Place all ingredients into the bowl and mix 20 seconds - speed 3 and no longer - with a spoon divide the mixture between the muffin tray sections
    Bake for 15- 20 mins checking at 15mins with a skewer
    Delicious warm or cold - exeptional when warm split in half and spread with butter - perfect breakfast with a latte, coffee, tea straight from the oven - or warmed - serve cold for snacks or afternoon/morning tea
