Delicious! This recipe made quite a lot for 2 of us. I served it warm, sometimes with ice cream and sometimes with custard. I needed to add a dash of milk at the end of mixing the batter. Next time I will add an extra apple but it was lovely with 3 apples. I sprinkled cinnamon and then sugar over the top before baking. Thank you for this yummy and easy recipe.

Hi, I'm not sure what happened but the mix was way too dry. I ended up adding 2 eggs and I baked it in a 'bunt' caketin for 45 minutes on 170 (fan forced). It smells delicious, so serving it with custard for dessert tonight.

My 10 year old daughter made this recipe to use up some apples we had given to us. She used 500 grams of apples and added a tablespoon of milk as per others recommendations. We had a slice, warm with ice cream, for dessert. It was beautiful. A lovely, simple yet pleasing recipe. Will definitely be making this again!
