Hiya!
I have just tried this recipe and found that my uncooked dough would not hold its' shape. All of the edges kept trying to fold back into itself when I was trying to flatten it. Maybe it is because the dough is so sticky which I found quite challenging. I would be so grateful for any tips or advice on this. Thanks.

The kids loved them. I made these ahead of time and they were still perfect. My only issue is not being able to make them thin enough due to the stickiness of the dough but they were still great and I will make again.

Turned leftovers into Turkish bread!...
Turned leftovers into Turkish bread!
I only made a couple of flat breads to have with a curry last night. I put the rest of the dough in the fridge overnight. The next morning I tipped it out onto a lined tray without trying to knock any air out. Drizzled some oil, salt and Italian spice mix and baked at 220c. Turned into a ripper Turkish bread.

How good are these!??? I was going to a friend's place last night and was told they were having mexican. I literally came across the recipe an hour before we left and well inside that time I had made these and had them all safe in a clean tea towel to take to our friend's house. They were a hit. I love these wraps! They turned out amazing first time. Next time I make them I plan on adding some chopped herbs during the mixing process for a bit of extra flavour. I read the previous comments and found that dipping my fingers in oil before forming each ball of dough really helped. I also oiled the pan in between each wrap and they were all perfect.
Can anyone please provide me any tips on how to store these wraps to prevent them from splitting??

I made half quantity to have with a Thermomix hummos dip for a party.
A small amount of cooking oil on your fingertips, makes pinching the balls of dough from the bowl very easy.
Enough for five slightly larger than golf ball size pieces. When rolled flat each one fits into a 20cm non stick pan; I would possibly roll them thinner next time and cook them in my much larger electric frying pan.
I discovered that as soon as the dough puffs up, you need to watch it because if left too long, any excess flour looks burnt and is unattractive. It is useful to give the pan a quick wipe with a scrunched up paper towel with a little oil on it, between cooking each piece.
Thank you for this recipe, it was so easy to make.
