Tip

This is a great easy recipe for kids to make themselves.

Can use different types of chocolate blocks for variety, e.g - white choc, peppermint, caramello etc

Delicious served warm or cold - consistency is very similar to store bought chocolate yogo type desserts. Store in an air tight container in fridge for a few days (if it lasts that long)

Will thicken upon cooling, but you can cook for 1-2 mins longer for thicker consistency when hot.

    Submitted by mizzi6 on 26. July 2017 - 13:55.

Can i ask a question,, I made this yesterday and did the exact quantities but it hasnt gotten thicker. it was actualy liquad when put in my fridge and when i took it out to check had built a skin on top but that is it. That skin is still there so the custard is half chunky and then runny. I dont have a Thermomix but i do have a Bellini or Smith and Noble as they are now called and its basically the same thing.
What can i do to see if i can fix this and make it turn into actual custard

    Thanks

LOVED it! Only my second recipe to cook in my new thermo and it was another hit. We planned to eat it warm, so added the extra 2 minutes on as suggested and it was delicious. Can't wait to try it cold tomorrow. I also didn't have any corn flour and used plain instead and it turned out fine.
