4 portion(s)

  • 500g chicken breast/thighs, cut into strips
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 spring onions/shallots
  • 12 fresh basil leaves
  • 100g sundried tomato, keep the oil
  • 30g oil from sundried toms
  • 60g dry vermouth/dry white wine
  • 250g cream
  • 1tsp TM vege stock
  • 100g Parmesan cheese
  • 100g water
  • 250g linguini pasta

Recipe's preparation

    Sundried Tomato,Chicken and Linguini in a Cream Sauce

  1.   Grate Parmesan for 10 seconds on speed 8 and set aside.

    Cook pasta as per instructions in the ‘Every Day’ cookbook and place in ThermoServer.

    Place chicken in the Varoma and 900g water to the TM bowl. Steam for 15 minutes at Varoma

    temperature on speed 4 or until cooked. Add to the ThermoServer on top of the linguini.

    Dry TM bowl. Place garlic in TM bowl and chop for 3 seconds on speed 8.

    Add shallots, sundried tomatoes and basil and chop for 3 seconds on speed 8.

    Add oil and cook for 2 minutes at 100°C on speed 1.

    Add water, stock, cream and vermouth and cook for 9 minutes at 80°C on speed 2.

    Pour sauce over chicken and linguini, sprinkle in half the Parmesan and toss.

    Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped basil leaves and remainder of Parmesan.

Tip

This dish can also be made using green prawns cooking time will need to be adjusted.

    Made this for dinner tonight, great recipe thank you! I cooked my pasta on the hob normally, had to use dried basil instead of fresh and didn't have any wine. Even my 3yo twins ate it!

    Such a great recipe!! My whole family enjoyed it. Next time I will decrease the amount of liquid though as it was definitely too runny. I didn't have any spring onions either and it was still super tasty. Thank you!

    Delicious!!! I was a little time deficient so I put the chicken in the varoma for 5 minutes, then broke my pasta in half and cooked it while the chicken finished steaming. Saved about 15 minutes

    Needed a quick dinner and felt like indulging- this fit both of my criteria. Very nice and my 3 young children ate all of their serve. I added zucchini to the tray in the aroma whilst steaming my chicken thighs for a veggie boost. My husband and I sprinkled some chilli flakes on ours to add a kick.

    Easy to make and tasted like it was from a restaurant, I used chicken thighs and didn't like the way they turned out in the varoma, will try breast next time instead but the sauce was amazing. Will definitely make it again tmrc_emoticons.)
