Pork Fritters

  • 300 g Pork roast, Or other roasted meat, roughly cubed
  • 1 onion, Cut into quarters
  • 170 g self-raising flour
  • 75 g cornflour
  • 1/4 level tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 3/4 tsp dried italian herbs
  • to taste Salt and pepper

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Pork Fritters
  1. Place roast meat into Closed lid. Shred 10 Seconds, Counter-clockwise operation Speed 4. Set aside in a medium bowl.
  2. Place quarters onion into Closed lid. Chop 10 seconds, speed 4. Set aside with meat.
  3. Place remaining ingredients into Closed lid, mix 6 seconds, speed 4.
  4. Add meat and onion back into Closed lid and mix 6 seconds, Counter-clockwise operation speed 4.
  5. remove mixture from Closed lid and into the bowl that was used to hold meat and onion. (This makes it easier to spoon out ingredients). Using a tablespoon, place heaped spoonfuls into hot oil in frying pan. Cook until dark golden brown and drain on paper towel before serving.

Tip

Can add vegetables like zucchini and carrot or leave plain. Serve with vegetables or salad and tomato sauce is a great accompaniment.
