  • 3 cloves garlic, Peeled
  • 1 --- medium onion, Chopped into eight
  • 500 grams tomatoes, Chopped into quarters
  • 3 heaped tablespoons Dried whole chillies, Roughly chopped
  • 170 grams brown sugar
  • 90 grams red wine vinegar

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

    Chilli Jam
  1. Place garlic and onion in Closed lid chop 4 seconds Speed 4 scrape sides down
  2. Add tomatoes chop 5 seconds speed 4, scrape sides down
  3. Add chillies, brown sugar and red wine vinegar
  4. Cook 25mins, Veroma temp Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting without MC replace with simmering basket to reduce splatter while cooking
  5. Repeat for 5mins at a time if not desired consistency
