Nadias' Tikka Paste

Ingredients

2 jar(s)

Tikka Paste

  • 60 g coriander seeds
  • 40 g cumin seeds
  • 2 teaspoon ground chillies
  • 100 g Peeled Garlic Cloves
  • 100 g Ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 220 g olive oil
  • 100 g water
  • Juice of 2 lemons, (Seeds Removed)
  • 1 heaped teaspoon ground tumeric
  • 25 g salt
  • 40 g Dried Onions
  • 130 g tomato puree

Recipe's preparation

    Tikka Paste
  1. Weigh Coriander, cumin and ground Chillies into the TM Bowl. Dry Roast for 5 Minutes | Varoma | Speed 1

     

    Mill for 1 minute | Speed 8

     

    Add Garlic, ginger and olive oil to the TM Bowl. Chop for 20 Seconds | Speed 7. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, and blend for 1 minute | Speed 10

    Add remaining ingredients and cook for 60 Minutes | 80 Degrees | Speed 2

     

    Store in Clean glass jars and top up with olive oil to ensure the paste is fully submerged to help preservation

Tip

Add fresh red chillies with seeds in Step 3 for a 'Bitier' Tikka Paste
