F45 Sweet Potato Pancakes

  • 250 g sweet potato, Chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g Unsweetened almond milk
  • 40 g quinoa flour
  • 2 g cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Sweet Potato Pancakes
  1. Add 500g water into Closed lid. Place chopped sweet potato into the simmering basket and place the basket into the Closed lid. Cook 15mins, varoma, speed 2. (MC on)
  2. Remove simmering basket and drain water. Place the sweet potato back into the Closed lid with the egg and mash for 10sec, speed 5.
  3. Insert butterfly. Add remaining ingredients and whip for 30sec, speed 4.

Accessories you need



Recipe can be doubled easily. Just add extra 5 mins when steaming sweet potato and extra 4 seconds when mixing the egg in.

If you are not on the F45 challenge feel free to add toppings to suit your taste. (Rice malt syrup, fresh berries and banana to name a few ideas)
