We have increased the volume of the mixing bowl and "Varoma" of the Thermomix TM 5 compared with the Thermomix TM 31 as follows: the mixing bowl can now hold 2.2 litres (instead of previous 2.0 litres) and the "Varoma" can hold 3.3 litres (instead of 3.0 litres). Under no circumstances recipes which are meant for use with the TM 5, when working with the TM 31 (the TM31 is certified with a lower maximum capacity!) Otherwise this could lead to splashing of hot liquid and therefore to endangering persons.
