  • 200 grams oats
  • 140 grams Coconut
  • 60 grams Cocoa/cacao
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil (melted)
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 5 grams vanilla extract/paste

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Date slice
  1. Place all dry ingredients into Thermomix bowl.

  2. Place all wet ingredients into Thermomix bowl.

  3. 6 seconds, sp. 4. Scrape down bowl.

    6 seconds, sp. 6. Scrape down bowl.

    8 seconds, sp. 8. 

     

  4. Place into slice tin and leave in fridge for 2 hours or until hard. Cut into desired slices and keep in fridge for up to 5 days.

Tip

Can add any seeds or nuts in place of/in addition to coconut - simply adjust weight to equal.

    I put the dates in a bowl with enough water just to cover them & soaked overnight. Now in the fridge chilling!
