Hi, just sat down with a cuppa and a piece of this awesome brownie!  Must admit the first time I made it it was a disaster. I chose the wrong size tin. Had an errupting volcano happening, then it caught fire in the bottom of the oven.  Can definately recommend this one tmrc_emoticons.) tmrc_emoticons.)

  • Great brownie recipe, rises

    Submitted by tracy_hilton on 23. January 2012 - 13:26.

Great brownie recipe, rises quite high but comes back down again when taken out of the oven.  Also added 80g of white choc bits and cooked for 32 minutes to get just the right fudgie consistency without drying out the outer brownies to much.  Recipe title quite misleading as this is def a brownie recipe, not fudge.    Don't forget the coconut in step 5 as it is not mentioned.

  •    My daughter was desperate

    Submitted by ajb on 12. November 2011 - 09:02.

Cooking 6   My daughter was desperate for this recipe this morning to take to a scout camp she is running for her 'Leadership Red Cord'!  It was scrumdiddlyumptious!!  Followed the recipe to the letter - well, almost!  Forgot the coconut & used macadamias instead of walnuts.  Bottom was soft & top was crunchy, almost chewy, just like it's meant to be - not bad for my first ever batch of brownies!  Thanks Sue for sharing THE best brownie recipe ever!!

tmrc_emoticons.;)  this was the standard weekend treat which we used to make as kids, mum never liked baking so she taught me how to make this, old method of melting chocolate in a double saucepan, lots of pots and pans and measuring cups, all made so easy in the Thermomix. Give it a try!
