Milk Choc Coconut Truffles

  • 200 grams cocnut oil
  • 175 grams Maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla bean powder

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    To do:
  1. 1. Place all ingedients in the bowl, except the shredded coconut and heat 90sec/60c/speed 1.

    2. Mix 10sec/speed 10 to combine.

    3. Place mix in freezer broof container and freeze for 1 hour.

    4. Let mix defrost for 20 min, roll into balls with wet hands and coat in shredded coconut.

    5. Store in fridge or freezer, if eating from freezer allow to defrost 10 mins.

    This is delicious and very rich! I've made it many times. But it needs a step added to blitz the prunes.

    This recipe is amazing! 

    So simple and easy to make. Mixture comes out runny but after it chills it is easy to roll into bite size balls. 

    *I also added 50g of whey powder to the recipe list and they still turned out perfectly.
