Lovely rounded flavours but I wish I'd made half the quantity as it's a lot! Definitely goes well in the Clean Butter Chicken recipe.

too spicy. Anyone else? Or Did I overdo the chilli and ginger. Is it meant to be eye watering lt spicy? I've never had it before.
I'm putting it into the Thermo again with 2 more cans of tomatoes and another large tablespoon of brown sugar..

Quite nice, I made a half quantity and wasn't sure whether I should have reduced the first step. Good flavour thought out and went well in the Butter Chicken recipe.

I used fresh tomatoes, turned out a bit runny. Next time would consider thickening with cornflour or perhaps using less tomatoes. Lovely flavour. "Gentle stir setting"

Wow! This is incredible. First time making Kasundi and can see why it's so well liked. It is DELICIOUS! I used fresh tomatoes that I picked up cheap from the shop and just regular mustard seeds as I couldn't find Black Mustard Seeds. I came across this after looking up Clean Butter Chicken: https://www.recipecommunity.com.au/main-dishes-meat-recipes/clean-butter-chicken/nv8lv09n-a7f30-516092-cfcd2-d3izcwj3 So easy to make and I can't wait to use it tonight in dinner!

Amazing!! Once it cools down
Amazing!! Once it cools down in the fridge it thickens and it's perfect! Love this recipe - thanks so much for sharing. It's got all the flavours - the spices, the heat, the sweet, salty, and the sour. I can't stop eating it from the jar.
Note: I used fresh roma tomatoes, reduced the sugar by falf, and added 3 heaped tablespoons of sugar free apples sauce
Love this recipe! We used
Love this recipe! We used about 800g of ripe fresh tomatoes to make this instead of tinned as we got alot cheap and it was perfect. We used for a spread on ham and cheese toasted sandwiches and it gave them the perfect bite and flavor. Just finished eatinf our firsr jar and it lasted about a month or 2. Will be making it again this weekend. Thanks for a delicious recipe.

Made this for Clean Butter Chicken because I couldn't find any on the shelves at Woolworths, I'm so glad I did too. Butter Chicken Melted in my mouth!
Absolutely love this paste,
Absolutely love this paste, have since had to halve the chilli content though! So versitile, made initially for the butter chicken recipe, but now use on pizza's, sandwiches, crackers; gives extra oomph to anything requiring some extra heat.

I made this today using
I made this today using fresh tomatoes and also used 3 small red chillies instead of chillie powder. Good flavour but a bit runny. Do you think it will thicken up a bit when cold Or maybe I should cook it a bit longer? It made 2 X 370 ml jars.
I made this and my husband
I made this and my husband has stollen it & taken it down to the shed where all his mates sit around with Savoy biscuits and cider!! They love it!!! I actually added HOT chilli powder so it's really hot but doesn't stop them eating it and we've had it on a pizza base just beautiful, thankyou for sharing

Great staple to have in
Great staple to have in fridge for a quick curry. Reduced chilli powder to only 1 tblsp as we prefer less heat in our meals, and just used white wine vinegar to make gluten free. I enjoyed in Chicken Butter Cream and then created this variation when feeling like a bit more satay flavour: http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/main-dishes-meat-recipes/cashew-kasundi-chicken-curry/201752
