Salmon and Avocado Paté

Ingredients

Paté Ingredients

  • 120 g hot water
  • 1 tablespoon gelatine
  • 1 tsp Chicken stock powder
  • 220 g can red salmon
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 spring onions, roughly chopped
  • 60 g mayonnaise
  • 60 g avocado
  • 60 g cream

Recipe's preparation

    Paté Method
  1. Place hot water, gelatine and chicken stock powder in thermomix bowl. Mix on speed 7 for 1 minute.
  2. Add undrained salmon, avocado, lemon juice, spring onions, and mayonaise to bowl and mix on speed 7 for 1 minute.
  3. Add Cream and mix on speed 7 for 30 seconds.
  4. Set in Paté dish or mould for at least 1 Hour in fridge, or until set.
  5. Serve with toast or savoury biscuits.

Tip

If preferred, you can omit the avocado and increase the cream to 120 g.

    Yes, you need to grease the mould.  I inverted it onto a plate and put a hot cloth on the base so it would slip out.
