  • 2 litres Aldi Full Cream UHT Milk
  • 260 grams Aldi Full Cream Milk Powder
  • 250 grams Aldi Red Label Cream
  • 170 grams Jalna Vanilla Pot Set Yoghurt
  • 120 grams raw sugar
  • 50 grams Homemade Vanilla Bean Paste

      Recipe is created for

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add Milk, Milk Powder, Sugar and Vanilla Bean Paste to bowl.
    Mix 30 seconds on speed 5.
    Heat for 8 minutes on 60 degrees speed 3. Increase time if full temperature isn't reached.
    Add Cream and mix for 30 seconds on speed 5.
    Let mixture cool to 45 degrees.
    Add Pot Set Yoghurt and mix for 40 seconds on speed 3.
    wash and keep your Pot Set container to save some starter for your next batch.
    Select Fermentation Mode for 8 hours at 45 degrees.
    Once completed save 170 grams for your next batch! Pop it in the freezer till ready for use tmrc_emoticons.)
