Fudgy gluten free chocolate cake

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees. Grease and line a 20cm cake tin.
  2. Add 100g dark chocolate to Thermomix bowl and chop 10 sec/speed 9.
  3. Melt chocolate 2 min/50°C/speed 1.
  4. Add drained kidney beans, only 1 egg and 1 tbsp vanilla extract and mix 15 sec/speed 4. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  5. Without washing the Thermomix bowl, add 125g butter and 180g raw sugar and mix 30 sec/speed 4 or until pale.
  6. With Thermomix running for 30 sec/speed 4, add the remaining 4 eggs, one at a time, through the hole in the mixing bowl lid. Once time has run out, scrape down sides and continue.
  7. Return chocolate and bean mixture to the Thermomix bowl, along with 70g cacao powder, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda and 1/4 tsp salt and mix 15 sec/speed 4 until combined. If necessary, scrape down the sides and combine a further 3 seconds.
  8. Pour mixture into prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes. Allow to cool in the tin.
