Variation Banana Choc Chip Muffins
- 50 grams raw sugar
- 3 large very ripe bananas
- 120 grams vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 330 grams Wholemeal Self Raising Flour
- 1 level teaspoon bicarb soda
- 50 grams Milk
- 100 grams choc chips

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Mill sugar 10 secs speed 9.
- Add bananas, oil, vanilla and eggs.
- Beat 10 secs speed 6.
- Scrape down bowl.
- Add flour, bicarb and milk.
- Mix together slowly increasing speed from 1 to 6 for 5 secs.
- Scrape down bowl.
- Add choc chips
- Mix through 5 secs "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 4.
- Divide into a 12 muffin tray
- Bake for 18-20 mins or until golden brown.
