For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 2 baking trays (30 x 40 cm) with baking paper and set aside.
  2. Place Parmesan, basil and chilli flakes into mixing bowl and grate 8 sec/speed 7.
  3. Spoon approx. 1 tablespoon of mixture onto prepared baking tray. Repeat to make 10 crisps (approx. 5 per tray), spacing them approx. 5 cm apart. Gently spread mounds into flat circles to an even thickness with the back of a spoon.
  4. Bake for 7-9 minutes (180°C) or until bubbly and edges start to crisp. Enjoy with your favourite dip or as part of a cheese board.

Tip

Crisps can be stored in a sealable storage container in the pantry for 2-3 days.

When making crisps, test one first to determine cook time, as oven temperatures may vary. They are done when your cheese is bubbling and just starting to turn golden.

These are terrific! Only negative is that everyone's loves them and I have to make 3 batches at a time!!

great with cheese balls and on platters or just in their own.

Yum, these have a little bit of chilli zap. Delicious on their own or with dip. I actually used a
200g block of Parmesan cheese with the recommend chilli and I used fresh basil. Will definitely do again.
