Zucchini Slice

Ingredients

6 portion(s)

Zucchini Slice

  • 250 grams zucchini, quartered, Approx medium - large
  • 1 brown onion
  • 1 carrot halved, Large
  • 30 grams olive oil
  • 70 grams cheddar cheese, cubed roughly
  • 100 grams Smoked turkey, chopped
  • 6 Eggs, Large
  • 70 grams wholemeal self-raising flour
  • sea salt & pepper to taste

Recipe's preparation

    Mixture
  1. Grate cheese  for 6 seconds  on speed 8 and set aside

  2. Chop zucchinis, carrots and onion for 5 seconds on speed 5

  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix for 20 seconds on reverseCounter-clockwise operation+ speed 4 with aid of spatula.
  4. Pour into buttered and lined 20cm tin or round / oval baking dish.

  5. Bake for 50 minutes in moderate oven.

    Heiper5: I realise this is a few years since your post !! However I just used Bio cheese (only had 50g) plus some nutritional yeast flakes! I added a cob of corn instead of meat as we are vegetarian. I meant to put some olives on top but only remembered after it was in the oven!

    I've made this a few times and love this recipe. I never have any turkey on hand so always add same quantity of bacon (one day I'll get turkey and try it).
    Today I added sliced tomato to the top. The kids love it!

    I took out Turkey & added mushrooms so vegetarian. Also same quantity of cheese but 1/3 Parmesan 2/3 cheddar & used GF flour. I don’t cook with onion but added 3 cloves of home grown garlic.Tasted great & great texture.

    Always thought zucchini slice was a quick dish....this machine makes it in seconds! Too easy & very tasty. I used some smoked chicken I had left over instead of the suggested turkey (normally would used bacon or ham) & it gave great flavor. THANKYOU !
