Thank you, yes finally!!! I am very excited, my consultant will be delivering it next weekend (nearly 10 weeks after I paid for it). Better late than never they say!
As the below reader says, I would be grateful to receive something in return for paying a 2.5 mth interest bill on my credit card during the waiting period.

I paid for mine in full on the 20th of August and are yet to receive it so it definitely doesnt look like 20 days is the time frame to wait. Is there any news on stock arrival dates yet? It has been over 8 weeks wait so far!
I agree somewhat with your statement. I too have paid cash & in full. I think they should give us the Thermoserve as a complimentary thank you for the extended waiting period.
So my new thermomix arrived 20th October. Just to give you an idea I ordered and applied for finance on the 12th September, I was informed my order had been processed on the 2nd October and was "settled" with the finance company, thats 20 days so far. I made my first payment on the finance on the 15th and received my machine on the 20th so that an extra 18 days.
All together it has taken 38 days since ordering. However I used finance which I heard has speed up the wait due to the finance companys terms and conditions.
Thank you for your feedback. There were a number of finance orders that were expedited to keep to the finance terms. All other orders will continue to be processed and despatched within the 5-8 week period. We are currently processing orders from mid September.
We sincerely apologise for the delay and encourage you to stay in contact with your Consultant, who will advise you when your Thermomix is ready for delivery.
Hi Rockstardee,
Due to the unprecedented worldwide demand for the new Thermomix, there has been a subsequent impact on our delivery times. We do understand that this is disappointing for customers and we are working with our manufacturer Vorwerk , to expedite the delivery of stock as quickly as possible so that we can then arrange delivery to our customers.
To answer your question on warranty, your Thermomix warranty will be automatically extended for an additional 2 months to accommodate this delay.
Just wondering what is happening with warranty etc. My invoice took into account the 20 day wait before it started, but as of this week it has now started to kick in, and I don't have my TM5. What is going to happen with this? My 20 business days has ended however i also go the email saying 5-8 weeks so who knows when it will arrive.
Thelma has arrived! She arrived today at 1.45pm and she has been working hard ever since. Vege stock concentrate, the best pumpling soup EVER and custard. I am sticking to the easy guided cooking recipes until I get the hang of her. I am soo delighted and I hope you all feel the same when your new arrival finally shows up. Hopefully you'll get a surprise like me. I only got the call last night that she was arriving today :)
It has been brought to my attention via FB pages that some people who ordered the TM5 after I ordered mine (21/9) are taking delivery of their machines already when other people have said that HO was working on 15/9 & 16/9 order dates. Why is this so? Should it not be in order of when you ordered/paid for your TM5? I'm not pleased by this as I think it should be done in order of the dates people put their order through. I don't mind waiting and I don't think it is unreasonable to expect delivery to be done fairly and consistently in order of order dates. I think there will be more than a few of us who are a little put out by this.
Even though I got the email saying 5.8 weeks delivery last week my tm5 has been dispatched today , so hang in there guys wont be long now , maybe they said that just in case
@ laspig I ordered mine on the 12th September. I went with finance and was approved the same day however the settlement process took 20 days and apparently the delivery time is calculated from the settlement date.
Hi everyone, we apologise for the delay and want to assure you that we are working with Vorwerk to obtain stock as quickly as we can then arrange deliveries to our customers as soon as possible.
I ordered mine on 27th Sept and paid in full, I was told 15 working days, then I got the email yesterday saying 5-8 weeks. I am really annoyed, TM should have seen this coming and ordered more machines ready for delivery. I think it is wrong that they are taking full payment when they can't meet the delivery times we were given. They should be offering some sort of compensation.
Should you have any queries, please contact your Consultant.
I really feel for the Thermomix consultants. they are doing there best considering most of them have been kept in the dark about the release etc and now they are coping backlash about the lid seal on TM31 and then this a decent delay and Thermomix passes the buck to them.
My consultatnt was really non the wiser. He hopes that it comes before the 5-8 weeks but of course can't guarentee anything as its in Thermomix hands now
Hi, I was told yesterday that my wait is 6-8 weeks!!!! Can't believe I have to wait so long. Apparently due to popularity. I would have thought that would have been expected and enough would have been shipped. It's like being a kid a Xmas!! Anticipation might make it better!!
I am so disappointed thermomix. I paid upfront when I ordered my thermomix 3 weeks ago and got an email yesterday saying the waiting period has increased from 20 days (which was the commitment at the date of ordering) to now being 6-8 weeks!! I really hope Tbermomix can rectify this broken promise as I'm extermely disappointed as I have been saving up for over a year to be able to afford this and now I just feel disappointed and let down :(
The wait has taken all the thrill and excitment away now It is just more questions did I do the right thing , the way the company has handled things lately , you just wonder
That's not good I haven't received a smilar email so I am hoping it's not the case with me. I hope you don't need to wait that long Honeypalm I am having a demo tomorrow and my son is keen to order one. If he needs to wiat 6-8 weeks that will seriously put him off.
I was told up to 20 days and I got mine in 13 days so if you're lucky you could be surprised! I think any kind of wait is hard when you're really excited to get started - I just collected recipes from Pinterest, joined some groups on Facebook and made a bit of plan about where to start and how to make sure I used it all the time. I think I would have spun the wheels for awhile working out where to start if I hadn't done some planning before it arrived but that's just me
I was also told 3 weeks or so till i receive the Tm 5 ,it has
been finalized as I went with fiance and now waiting for it to be dispatched its been about 2 weeks since I signed on the dotted line lol, hope I dont have to wait another 2 weeks
I was wondering what time periods have people been told on getting their new Thermomix? I ordered mine last week and it looks like it will be at least a month till I see it. I was seriously thinking about joining back up as a consultant but with October 31st being the end of the introductory price and interest free period I have reservations especially if people are having to wait longer than a month for delivery. My other concern is people who are ordering for Christmas. Should anyone wanting it for christmas be ordering now?

In my first post I asked if people wanting to buy as a christmas present for for the holiday period should be ordering now etc.
With Thermomix suggesting 5-8 weeks, I would suggest anyone wanting to buy for the christmas/holiday period do so NOW!
