If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Balls
  1. Place biscuits into bowl and mix for 6 seconds, speed 6, MC on. Alternatively you can crush biscuits with a rolling pin in a bag.

Add cream cheese and mix for 6 seconds, speed 6, MC on.

Roll mixture into 2cm diameter balls. Use spatula to ensure you get all the mixture out. If mixture is not firm enough you may need to refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes.

Line a flat tray or large shallow container with baking paper.

Melt chocolate according to preferred method - in Thermomix (refer Basic Cookbook) or Microwave (see below).

Using a dipping tool, or two forks, coat each ball in chocolate and place on baking paper tray/container.

    Place in refrigerator until set.

Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
  2. Melted chocolate
  3. Place chocolate in microwave safe jug. Microwave on medium-high for 30 seconds then stir chocolate with fork. Repeat until chocolate has melted.

Tip

Remove the mixture from the bowl prior to rolling into balls to reduce the risk of cutting yourself on the blades.
