Thank you for your reply. I have put my recipes in catagories already and I am slowly going through the collections of books to pick on recipes I love and to save them. I just think that there should be a facility to develop a way to search though the whole universe without having to hop from one country to another. Thank you again.
Forum Searching for recipes on Cookidoo
Hi ritaknowles
That is correct the search function is a generic function to search for recipes in the Cookidoo Country you are in, unfortunately it doesn't relate to searching your lists you set up. When you select a recipe as a favourite it does show in your favourites list no matter which country you are in and you can sort your favourites list by name of recipe which might make it a little easier to find the recipe you are after.
Another way is to make different play lists under your recipe library and then under your own recipe lists, this way you can then name/theme the list and say put all your fish recipes under 'Fish' or 'Baking' etc this way it makes it easier to find the recipes you want as they are in smaller lists rather than all just under favourites.
Kind Regards
I love my cook key. I have been saving a lot of books from different cookidoo websites (countries) as favourites. The idea is to go through them and choose the recipes I like and would like to try. I would like to be able to search recipes from them but unless I am in the correct cookidoo website, the search does not bring any recipes even though they are in my favourites. For example if I am in the portugese cookidoo, search function will not find recipes or ingredients that are in the UK cookidoo. This makes it very very tedious as you have to keep going in an out of cookidoo in different countries to search recipes. Am I missing anything or can I search for recipes from different countries without having to slip in and out of cookidoo of those countries?
