  • 1 mug almond milk (300ml)
  • 1 Ripe banana
  • 1 level tbsp almond butter
  • 1 level tsp Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1 handful frozen blueberries
  • 5 level tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 level tbsp Hemp seeds (optional)
  • 1 level tbsp protein powder or collagen (optional)

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Weigh 300ml Almond milk into bowl.
  2. Add the banana, almond butter, honey, frozen blueberries, hemp seeds and protein powder (if using) blend speed 8, 10 secs until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour into a glass and stir in the chia seeds.
  4. Cover the glass and leave it in the fridge overnight, or for at least 6 hours, so that the chia seeds expand.
  5. Either enjoy as it is or top the glass off with fresh fruit and granola.

Tip

Keep this ineteresting by changing the blueberries for a different fruit every now and again. I love using either mango, raspberries or strawberries.
I usually pour into two small glass jars and find it is enough to serve 2.
