Forum Gettting prepared for the week ahead

Today in my thermiehave made easy lemon cake from the recipe community. Made pizza dough for tomorrow night and am about to clean out my veggie crisper and make the stock concentrate. In my slow cooker i have the corned silverisde going and plan to use Thermie to make  mashed potato , steamed veggies and white sauce

Apparently you can cook silverside in the varoma, not sure if anyone has done this. It my consultant tells me her hubby cooks it all the time.

This is extremely late, but I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my Thermo and just joined these forums. You mentioned white sauce. I did a recipe search but couldn't find anything. Can anyone kindly provide one here? Thanks in advance. Rachel

Hi Rachel, white sauce is bechamel sauce. A simple way to find what you want to use google... Type in what you are looking for, even white sauce  followed by thermomix and you will normally get heaps of sites to choose from. you certainly are going to have lots of fun experimenting With new recipes, good luck!

I found the corned silver side in the varoma made it to tough. 

I use Silverside In The Varoma by Tanya Brennan. Found it on the recipe community.

The extra time makes it very soft. Love the sauce too. 

The White sauce recipe will be in your new cookbook I tried it yesterday first time, it's really good.
