If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Add all ingredients to bowl (MC on) and blitz 20 seconds speed 5, then crank up to speed 7 for another 10 seconds. Cook on medium heat fry pan 1 minute each side (I use 4.5 on my hob) making sure pan is thoroughly heated before cooking.

Thought I was trying this for the first time but turns out I've made them and commented before. Again, they were very big, fluffy and delicious. Only put in 50g sugar, might leave out the sugar next time. Thanks!

Unfortunately it didn't turn out light and fluffy for me. It's too dense for my liking. Next time I would add more milk. Nevertheless, I do appreciate the sharing. We all have different tastes plus it's good to try different recipes and learn to use the TM in the process.

Delicious! My husbands first play with the Thermie was this for my birthday breakfast! We used gluten free flour and they were perfect! He also cut the sugar to 50g and added a tsp of vanilla essence... Were perfect!
