Cookie Time Biscuits

  • 170 g Butter, Softened
  • 130 g white sugar
  • 130 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Paste
  • 315 g flour
  • 1/4 level tsp salt
  • 1/2 level tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 75 g chocolate button, white

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C fanbake/fan forced

    Line 2 large baking trays

    Weigh in butter and sugars

    Speed 4 20 seconds

    Scrape down the sides of the bowl

    Speed 4 20 seconds

    Add egg and vanilla

    Speed 5 4 seconds

    Scrape down sides of mixing bowl

    Add flour, salt, baking soda, white chocolate and dark chocolate

    Speed 4 10 seconds

    Repeat until combined

    Roll into balls, approx 40g each. Do not flatten balls. Bake both trays on different levels in the oven.
    Bake for about 10-15minutes or until cooked the way you prefer

Tip

You can subsitute with caramilk chocolate chunks too. Once removed from the oven you can "scoot" them to make them perfect circle biscuits

    These were amazing. Did 75g white choc bits & 75g macadamias instead and wow, the perfect recipe. Super easy. Did reverse for that last mixing step.

    Epic cookies right here!! They are a bit thick to mix up, but just get the spatula in there if necessary. Makes a heap of good sized cookies, and they are perfect for turning into ice cream sandwiches. Thanks Chelsea!
