      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

All good ingredients but I agree with another comment that they are just a bit too crumbly to get them to hold together before baking. I'm sure the kiddos will still enjoy them!

Great flavour. These were very firm biscuits. As another comment said 'the consistently of rum balls'. I didn't put the milled oats in as it was crumbly enough. Didn't spread either. I feel this recipe needs more 'wet' ingredients.

  • Hit the spot! Was in the mood

    Submitted by digibron on 3. April 2016 - 12:08.

Hit the spot! Was in the mood for cookies and was able to whip this up using what I had in the pantry. I reduced the sugar to 100g and used 40g cacao nibs instead of chocolate chips. Seems reasonably healthy too!

Yum!  These are a favourite in our house and I make them most weeks.  I use coconut oil instead of butter and reduce the sugar and use rapadura instead of brown.  Thanks for the recipe.

I made them for my kids lunch box snacks and change the brown sugar to coconut sugar and the honey to rice malt syrup just to make it a bit healthier for school.
