      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 150c and grease and line a loaf pan.

    Put the Sour Cream and Brown Sugar and the Egg in the bowl and mix on 5 seconds speed 4 until combined.

     

    Then add the Flour and Baking powder and mix for 10 seconds speed 4 then scrape down the bowl. 

     

    Next add the Honey and mix 10 seconds speed 5.5 and then the Peacan nuts for 5 seconds speed 5.

     

    Once all combined put into the loaf pan and bake for approx 1 hour or until when you insert a skewer it come out clean.

     

    Leave the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes and themourn out into a cooling rack.

     

    Serve warm with cinnamon butter...but is yummy cold as well.
