      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place sugar in bowl speed 9 10 secs

    add butter and cream on speed 4 until creamy add eggs one at a time until mixed through, add flour, coconut, custard powder and baking powder mix on speed 4 until it forms a dough consistency.


    roll into balls about teaspoon size flatten put a well in the middle of each biscuit and add thermomix jam. Bake in oven 15minutes 180 degrees.

    to use a wooden mould, brush the mould with flour then add the ball of dough to the mould, lightly roll out with a rolling pin then tap lightly on the baking tray and repeat until you have used all the mixture
