Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees. Grease a large cake tin.

  2. Add dry ingredients then wet ingredients, finishing with butter. Mix for 2 mins/Sp 4.

  3. Pour into tin and bake for 30-60 (depending on tin size and oven) minutes until a skewer comes out clean.

    This was lovely, simple and foolproof. I cut it, in half to check the moisture and look, and just let out a huge sigh, it looked delightful. I served it for afternoon tea, everyone enjoyed it.

    Thank you for this recipe. I needed a lamington recipe so cooked this in tiny cupcake trays. They rose up beautifully and I got 6 dozen little lamingtons from a single mix. I cooked them for 10 minutes. They are a lovely flavour and light and fluffy. Thank you again for sharing.
