  • 40 g Butter
  • 30 g sugar free maple syrup
  • 35 g pepitas
  • 15 g chia seeds
  • 15 g flaxseeds/linseeds

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Place a bowl on top of the lid and weigh in 35gm pepitas, 15gm chia seeds, 15gm flax seeds, 10gm sesame seeds, 35gm sunflower seeds, 25gm shredded coconut, 50gm chopped peanuts, 15gm multi puffs. Set aside in a bowl.
  3. In thermomix bowl, add 40gm butter and 30gm maple syrup and melt for 2min 30 seconds/70/speed 2.
  4. Add dry ingredients and mix for 15 seconds/reverse/speed 2.
  5. Spread in a thin layer over the lined baking tray and toast in the oven till golden brown. You will need to remove the tray every few minutes and give it a stir to evenly toast the ‘granola’. It will burn if not watched so for 10 mins or so…just watch and stir. I think I give it a scruff up maybe 5 times over 10-15 minutes.
  6. Store in an airtight container for a week or so…if it lasts that long.
