For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Add dates and sultanas blitz speed 6 for 6
Turn on oven to 180 - Add 50g oil/butter and cook
speed 2 for 5 mins 80degrees - Add grated carrot, zuchini, apple, LSA, oats, flour, bicarbonate, eggs, 50g oil, peaches drained and cinnamon
- Speed 8 reverse for 10 secs
- Use spatula to manually mix ingredients
- Speed 8 reverse for 15 seconds
- Add to muffin trays and bake for 16 minutes at 180degrees
